Overview

Content pages on ArtSites are built from stackable sections. Each section is a self-contained block of content with its own type and variant. You arrange sections vertically on the page to create your layout.

Available Section Types

Hero

A large banner with heading, body text, optional image, and call-to-action. Typically used at the top of a page for a bold statement or welcome message.

• Banner: Full-width banner with text overlay
• Split Right: Image on the right, text on the left
• Split Left: Image on the left, text on the right

Text

The workhorse section for written content: artist statements, descriptions, or any prose.

• Article: Standard article-width text column
• With Image: Text with an optional positioned image

Gallery

An inline artwork grid within a page, showing a selection of your work.

• Grid Classic: Uniform thumbnail grid
• Grid Masonry: Variable-height thumbnails
• Grid Tight: Minimal-spacing dense grid
• Grid Showcase: Large thumbnails with generous spacing

Image

A single image display, useful for feature images or visual breaks between text.

• Centred: Image centred with caption

Quote

A styled pullquote or testimonial.

• Pull Quote: Highlighted quotation with attribution

Divider

A visual separator between sections.

• Line: Simple horizontal rule

Contact Info

Displays your contact details and social links.

• Icons: Compact icon-based layout
• Detailed: Full contact details with labels

Contact Form

A form that lets visitors send you an enquiry directly from your website.

• Simple: Standard enquiry form

Video

Embed a video on your page.

• Player: Self-hosted video or YouTube/Vimeo embed

Slideshow

An image carousel for showcasing a series of images.

• Standard: Image carousel with configurable transitions

Table

Structured data in a clean, readable format.

• Simple: 2-4 column data table

Map

Show visitors where you are located.

• Standard: Static map generated from your address

Subscribe

An email subscription form for your newsletter.

• Prominent: Large, eye-catching signup form
• Minimal: Compact inline signup form

Adding Sections

1. Open a content page in the editor
2. Click Add Section where you want to insert it
3. Choose the section type
4. Select a variant
5. Fill in the content
6. Click Save

Tips

• You can reorder sections by dragging them up or down
• Duplicate a section to reuse its layout with different content
• Each section type has layout variants: you choose from the available options rather than configuring raw layout values
• Preview your page to see how sections flow together before saving
