Adding and Editing Pages

Overview

Pro accounts can create and manage multiple pages to build a complete website. Each page has its own URL, content, and settings.

Creating a New Page

  1. Go to Pages in your dashboard
  2. Click New Page
  3. Choose the page type (Content, Gallery, Blog, Events, or Contact)
  4. Enter a page title
  5. Click Create

Your new page starts out Hidden. Add content and switch it to Public when you're ready for visitors to see it.

Editing Page Content

  1. Navigate to the page you want to edit
  2. Click Edit to enter the editor
  3. Add, modify, or remove sections as needed
  4. Click Save to preserve your changes

Changes are auto-saved as drafts, so you won't lose work if you navigate away accidentally.

Page Settings

Each page has settings you can configure:

  • Title: The page name shown in the menu and browser tabs
  • URL path: The URL for the page (e.g., /about or /my-process)
  • Status: Public (visible to everyone), Unlisted (reachable by direct link only, left out of search), or Hidden (not visible to visitors at all)
  • Show in Menu: Whether the page appears in your website's menu
  • SEO Title: A custom title for search engines (defaults to page title)
  • SEO Description: A short description for search engine results
  • Noindex: Option to hide the page from search engines

Setting Your Home Page

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Under Home Page, select which page appears when visitors arrive at your website URL
  3. Click Save

Tips

  • Keep your page count manageable: most portfolio websites work well with 4-7 pages
  • Use descriptive URL paths that include relevant keywords (e.g., /landscape-paintings rather than /page-1)
  • Write SEO descriptions as a single sentence that summarizes the page content
  • Hidden pages are only visible to you: use this for work-in-progress content
