Joining a Group Website

Overview

Joining a group website starts with an invitation from the administrator. Both you and the administrator agree to the membership, so no one is added without consent from both sides.

How Invitations Work

  1. The group website administrator sends you an invitation
  2. You receive a notification with details about the group website
  3. Review the invitation and choose to accept or decline
  4. Once you accept, you appear as a member on the group website

The administrator can also withdraw an invitation before you respond.

Agreement From Both Sides

Membership on a group website requires agreement from both parties:

  • The administrator agrees by sending the invitation
  • You agree by accepting it

Neither side can force a membership. You can decline any invitation, and the administrator chooses who to invite.

What Happens to Your Existing Artwork

Your existing artwork and profile are not affected when you join a group website. Nothing is moved or copied automatically -- you choose what to submit to the group website after joining.

If you already have a Pro website, it continues to operate independently. Your group membership is separate from your personal website.

Your Profile Stays Portable

Your artist profile belongs to you, not the group website. If you leave a group website:

  • Your profile and artwork remain in your account
  • Artwork you submitted is removed from the group website
  • Your personal website (if you have one) is unaffected

What You Can and Cannot Do as a Member

As a member, you can:

  • Maintain your artist profile on the group website
  • Submit artwork for the administrator to consider
  • Withdraw artwork you have previously submitted
  • Leave the group website at any time

As a member, you cannot:

  • Change the group website's Design
  • Edit other members' profiles or artwork
  • Invite or remove other members
  • Modify the group website's pages or menu
