Your Admin Dashboard

Overview

The admin dashboard is your home base for managing your group website. It gives you a bird's-eye view of your website's activity and quick access to every management area.

Dashboard Sections

When you open the admin dashboard, you see the following sections:

  • Artists: Your full member list. Invite new artists, edit profiles, and manage access from here.
  • Submissions: Artwork submitted by members that is waiting for review (if you use juried submissions). Shows a count of pending items.
  • Collections: All collections on your website, both website-owned and artist-owned. Create new collections, reorder artwork, and set cover images.
  • Pages: Your website's pages, including the home page, about page, and any custom pages you have created.
  • Designs: Start from a starter design and customise it in the Studio: layout, colours, fonts, and feel.
  • Settings: Website-wide configuration including name, domain, sharing rules, and billing.

Quick Actions

The dashboard provides shortcuts for common tasks:

  • Invite an Artist: Send an email invitation to a new member
  • Review Submissions: Jump straight to pending submissions
  • Edit Design: Open your designs to adjust your website's look in the Studio

Switching Between Admin and Public Views

You can switch between the admin dashboard and your public website at any time. Use the View Website link in the admin toolbar to see what visitors experience. To return to admin, use the Admin link in the toolbar.

This makes it easy to check how changes look to the public without leaving your workflow.

What to Do First

If you are setting up a new group website, here is a good starting order:

  1. Choose a starter design in Designs
  2. Configure your sharing rules in Settings
  3. Invite your first artists from Artists
  4. Create your initial collections in Collections

From there, your members can start submitting artwork and you can begin curating your website.
