Messaging and Support

Overview

ArtSites provides built-in messaging so you can get help while editing your website and stay connected with visitors who reach out through your contact form.

Getting Support While Editing

A support button is available whenever you're editing your website. Click it to start a conversation with the support team.

When you send a message, it goes straight to the support team and a person answers it. Replies arrive in the same conversation thread, and you get an email notification so you don't need to keep the page open.

Searching the Help Centre first is often quicker, since many questions are already answered there.

Visitor Messages

Visitors can contact you through the contact form on your website. When someone sends a message, you receive a notification in your dashboard.

To read and respond to visitor messages:

  1. Go to Messages in your dashboard
  2. Select the conversation you want to view
  3. Type your reply and click Send

Finding Your Messages

All your conversations, both support and visitor messages, are accessible from Messages in your dashboard. Each conversation is listed with the most recent message and a timestamp.

Unread messages are highlighted so you can see at a glance what needs your attention. The notification bell in your dashboard header also shows a count of unread items.

Tips for Getting Help

  • Be specific: describe what you were trying to do and what happened instead
  • Include the page: mention which page or section you were working on
  • Check the Help Centre: many common questions are covered in the help articles available from your dashboard
