Overview

The order of artwork in a collection determines how visitors experience your work. ArtSites makes it easy to arrange artworks in exactly the sequence you want.

How To Reorder

1. Open the collection from your Collections dashboard
2. Click Reorder to enter reorder mode
3. Drag artwork thumbnails to rearrange them
4. On mobile, use the up/down arrows next to each artwork
5. Click Save Order when finished

Ordering Strategies

Consider these approaches when arranging your work:

• Chronological: Newest to oldest (or oldest to newest) to show your progression
• Visual flow: Arrange by colour, composition, or mood for a curated gallery experience
• Featured first: Place your strongest or most representative works at the beginning
• Thematic grouping: Cluster related works together within the collection

Tips

• The first artwork in a collection is used as the collection's cover thumbnail
• Visitors tend to focus most attention on the first 3-5 artworks
• You can reorder as often as you like. Experiment freely
• New artwork added to a collection appears at the end by default
