Overview
Complete and accurate artwork details help collectors understand your work and improve your website's discoverability in search engines. You can edit artwork details at any time after uploading.
Editable Fields
- Title: The name of the artwork
- Medium: Materials used (e.g., "Oil on canvas", "Digital print")
- Dimensions: Height, width, and optionally depth in your preferred units
- Year: When the artwork was created
- Description: A paragraph about the work, your process, or inspiration
- Tags: Keywords that help with search and filtering (e.g., "landscape", "abstract")
- Pricing: Selling price and availability information
- Status: Public, Unlisted, or Hidden (see below)
How To Edit
- Navigate to Artwork in your dashboard
- Click on the artwork you want to edit
- Update any fields as needed
- Click Save to apply changes
Artwork Visibility
Each artwork can be set to one of these statuses:
- Public: Visible to everyone visiting your website
- Unlisted: Not shown in galleries, but reachable by anyone with the direct link
- Hidden: Only visible to you in the dashboard
Tips
- Consistent formatting in titles and medium descriptions creates a more polished presentation
- Tags are used for filtering on gallery pages, so use keywords your audience might search for
- Adding dimensions helps collectors visualize the scale of your work
- You can change an artwork's status at any time
