Overview
Website settings control the fundamental details of your portfolio: your website name, logo, tagline, and other website-wide configuration. These settings affect how your website appears to visitors across all pages.
Key Settings
Website Name
The name displayed in the header and browser tab. Keep it concise, typically your name or studio name.
Tagline
A short phrase displayed below or alongside your website name (depending on your header layout). Use it for your artistic discipline or a brief descriptor (e.g., "Contemporary Oil Paintings").
Logo
Upload a logo image to replace or supplement the text website name in your header. For best results:
- Use a PNG or SVG with a transparent background
- Keep it simple and readable at small sizes
- ArtSites provides a scale slider to adjust the logo size within the header
Profile Image
Your artist photo or avatar. Used in the About section and support conversations.
Timezone
Sets the timezone for dates displayed on blog posts, events, and other time-sensitive content.
How To Update
- Navigate to Settings from your dashboard
- Fill in or update each field
- Click Save to apply your changes
- Preview your website to confirm the updates look correct
Tips
- Changes to settings take effect immediately after saving
- Your website name appears in search results: make it recognisable
- The tagline is optional but adds context for first-time visitors
- If you upload a logo, you can still show the text website name alongside it depending on your header layout
