Overview
Your profile controls your personal information and login credentials. Keeping your profile up to date ensures you receive important notifications and that your public information is accurate.
Profile Settings
- Display Name: How your name appears on your website and in communications
- Email Address: Your login email and where notifications are sent
- Password: Your account password
- Profile Image: An image or avatar used in the dashboard and optionally on your website
How To Update Your Profile
- Click your name or avatar in the dashboard menu
- Select Profile
- Update any fields as needed
- Click Save Changes
Changing Your Email
- Enter your new email address in the Email field
- Save changes
- Check your new email for a verification link
- Click the link to confirm the change
Your old email continues to work until you verify the new one.
Security Recommendations
- Use a strong, unique password for your ArtSites account
- If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and contact support
- Consider using login links if you prefer not to manage a password
Tips
- Your display name is shown publicly on your website (e.g., in blog post bylines)
- Profile changes take effect immediately across all your websites
- Your profile image can also appear on your website's About page or contact section, depending on your Design
