Overview
Your contact information and social media links let visitors and potential collectors reach you. ArtSites displays this information on your contact page and in your website footer automatically.
Contact Information
You can configure the following contact details:
- Email: Your public contact email (can be different from your login email)
- Phone: An optional phone number
- Address: Your studio or gallery address
These appear on your contact page and optionally in your website footer.
Social Media Links
Connect your social profiles and they'll appear as icons on your website:
- Twitter / X
- YouTube
- TikTok
How To Configure
- In your dashboard menu, open About me
- Select Contact & Social
- Enter your contact details
- Add URLs for your social media profiles
- Toggle individual links on or off to control which ones appear
- Click Save
Where Links Appear
- Footer: Social icons appear automatically in your website footer (based on your footer type)
- Contact page: All contact details and social links are displayed on your contact page
- Profile: For Basic accounts, social links appear on the profile page
Visitor Messaging
Pro accounts can enable a messaging widget that lets visitors contact you directly through your website:
- Floating widget: A chat-style button on every page
- Contact page only: The messaging form appears on the contact page
- Both: Available everywhere
Messages appear in your support inbox, and you receive email notifications when new messages arrive.
Tips
- Only include social profiles where you're actively posting artwork-related content
- Use a dedicated public email for your website rather than your personal email
- Test the messaging widget from a visitor's perspective by opening your website in an incognito window
- Social link icons are automatically styled to match your Design
